Utility Engineers Sought in the Injection Moulding Area
Job Description
Duties:
Cooling System Management: To guarantee accurate mold temperature management, supervise the operation and routine maintenance of industrial chillers and cooling towers.
Compressed Air Systems: Keep dryers and high-pressure air compressors in good working order to provide robotic pickers and pneumatic actuators with a moisture-free air supply.
Electrical Infrastructure: To guarantee a continuous power supply, control the transformers, diesel generator (DG) sets, and HT/LT (High Tension/Low Tension) power panels.
Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance: To reduce unplanned downtime, create and implement a rigorous Scheduled Maintenance (PM) schedule for all utility equipment.
Energy
management: Keep an eye on and maximize specific energy consumption (SEC), looking for ways to lower utility equipment power consumption.
Water Treatment: To avoid scaling and corrosion in the molding machine heat exchangers, keep an eye on and maintain the Water Softening Plant (WTP) or RO systems.
Focus Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Troubleshooting: Knowledge of P&ID and electrical circuit diagrams.
HVAC/Refrigeration: Proficiency in compressor maintenance and refrigerant gas charging.
Automation Fundamentals: Knowledge of PLC inputs and outputs for utility monitoring.
