Utility Engineer for Molding Facilities Urgent Need
Job Description
The "life-support systems" of the injection molding factory are under the protection of the Utility Maintenance Engineer. Ensuring the 100% uptime of peripheral utility equipment that directly affects the molding process, such as air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and electricity distribution systems, is your main responsibility. Utility stability is crucial in injection molding; a change in the temperature of the cooling water or the compressed air pressure can result in significant part rejection. A multi-skilled engineer with extensive knowledge of electrical systems, thermodynamics, and preventative maintenance techniques is the ideal applicant.

Responsibilities
Chiller & Cooling Tower Management: To guarantee accurate mold temperature management, which is essential for reliable cycle times, maintain and optimize industrial chillers and cooling towers.
Maintenance of Air Compressors: Keep an eye on the functioning of screw/piston compressors and air dryers to supply hygienic, dry compressed air for robotic pickers and pneumatic mold movements.
Power Distribution & DG Sets: To guarantee a continuous power supply and effective load management, control the HT/LT power panels, transformers, and Diesel Generator (DG) sets.
HVAC & Ventilation: Keep the plant's air conditioning and ventilation systems

operating properly to maintain a regulated atmosphere and avoid dust buildup in the molding area.
Pump and pipes Systems: Keep an eye on and fix the network of overhead pipes (compressed air, cooling water, and chilled water) as well as the water circulation pumps.
Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance: Lead rapid-response troubleshooting during failures and carry out the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) schedules for all utility equipment.
Energy Management: Monitor and evaluate water and energy use (KWh), putting policies in place to lower utility bills and enhance the plant's "Green" impact.
Safety & Compliance: Verify that all electrical installations and pressure vessels (compressors) adhere to legal safety requirements and "LOTO" (Lockout-Tagout) protocols.

Skills:
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical starters and VFDs, and mechanical pumps and valves.
The ability to detect hidden system inefficiencies using instruments such as clamp meters, pressure gauges, and thermal imagers.
Blueprint literacy: capacity to read and comprehend P&ID charts and Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
The capacity to maintain composure and organization in the face of complete plant power outages or utility interruptions.

We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
