Responsibilities:
Quality Planning: Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), control plans, and Quality Assurance (QA) plans for both new and old goods.
Process Control: To track production stability and spot changes before they result in problems, implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Inspection and Testing: Use precise measurement tools to supervise the inspection of incoming materials, in-process audits, and final product validation.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Use techniques like
8D, 5-Whys, or Fishbone Diagrams to guide inquiries into internal non-conformances and consumer complaints.
Supplier Quality Management: To make sure the supply chain satisfies business requirements, audit suppliers and assess the quality of raw materials.
Calibration Management: To guarantee measurement accuracy, oversee the calibration schedule for all gauges, fixtures, and lab apparatus.
Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in understanding blueprints and GD&T.
Analytical Tools: The ability to analyze data and report trends using Minitab or Microsoft Excel.
Measurement expertise includes practical experience with profile projectors, CMMs, and manual precision instruments.
Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC are essential tools.
