Job Description
Who you are:
Using a range of materials and machining techniques, construct and assemble new tools, fixtures, and dies based on technical designs. To guarantee ongoing performance, perform routine sharpening, component replacement, and emergency repairs on manufacturing tools. Examine tool designs for manufacturability and let the design department know about any possible enhancements or material modifications. Conduct rigorous inspections of finished tools using precision equipment to verify they meet exact specifications. To attain the required hardness and durability, ascertain and manage the heat treatment needs for different
tool steels. Go to the manufacturing floor to identify tooling problems like burrs, misfeeds, or dimensional deviations and put long-term solutions in place.
