Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Tool & Die Fabrication: Using a range of materials and machining techniques, construct and assemble new tools, fixtures, and dies based on technical designs.
Maintenance & Repair: To guarantee ongoing performance, perform regular sharpening, component replacement, and emergency repairs on production tools.
Design Validation: Check tool designs for manufacturability and let the design department know about any possible enhancements or material modifications.
Tolerance & Quality Control: Conduct rigorous inspections of finished tools using precision equipment to verify they meet exact specifications.
/>Heat Treatment Coordination: To obtain the required hardness and durability, ascertain and supervise the heat treatment needs for different tool steels.
Troubleshooting: Go to the factory floor to identify tooling problems like burrs, misfeeds, or dimensional deviations and put long-term solutions in place.
