Tool Room Engineer Collapse Fixer & Tooling Expert
Job Description
What you do:
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, operational, and structural difficulties in precision tools, dies, and moulds reported by the factory floor.
Scheduled Maintenance: Execute rigorous Preventive Maintenance (PM) and predictive checks on important tooling assets to minimise unexpected failures and extend tool life.
Tool Try-outs: Participate in and assist tool try-outs following repair or modification, ensuring the tool runs smoothly and produces parts within dimensional requirements.
Documentation:
Use the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) or internal logging system to accurately record all maintenance operations, repairs made, spare parts utilised, and time spent on work orders.
Tool Records: Keep thorough records of all essential production tools' usage, repair histories, and preventative maintenance programs.
Experience: 2 to 5 yrs yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
