Tool Room Engineer Adept in Tooling and Breakdown Fixing
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Repair: Determine the underlying causes of wear, breakage, and premature failure on the factory floor or in the tool room, as well as diagnose, disassemble, and fix complicated tooling failures.
Modification: Based on quality feedback, process enhancements, or design revisions, make engineering adjustments, upgrades, and modifications to current tooling.
Precision Measurement: To confirm the dimensional accuracy of repaired or manufactured tool components, use sophisticated inspection tools such as CMM, optical comparators, height gauges, and micrometers.
Heat Treatment: Organize or carry out
the necessary basic heat treatment procedures for tool steel components.
Documentation: Keep thorough and precise records in the CMMS or tool management system of all tool maintenance history, alterations, dimensional inspection reports, and spare part usage.
Soft Skills:

high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork abilities for interacting with design engineering and production teams.
Experience: 3 to 5 yrs
