Job Description:
The primary duty of a service engineer is to maintain and repair industrial machines. This position's primary goal is to transform equipment malfunctions into fully functional systems at the client's manufacturing facility. The engineer is in charge of installing new machinery, identifying mechanical or electrical problems, and giving operators technical training. For the client's manufacturing line to resume a dependable, high-quality run with little downtime, precise troubleshooting is necessary.
Key Duties:
On-Site Maintenance: Visit manufacturing facilities to carry out emergency and regular maintenance on industrial machinery.
Installation
& Commissioning: Assemble and "prove out" new equipment at the client's location, making sure it is accurately calibrated to meet their production requirements.
Fault Diagnosis: To determine the underlying cause of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical failures, employ testing instruments and software.
Technical Training: To avoid future equipment damage, teach the client's employees how to operate machines and perform basic maintenance.
Service Reporting: To guarantee complete transparency for both the client and the business, keep precise records of all spare parts used and tasks completed.
