Take Charge of Procurement Head of Purchase Required
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Taking into account the characteristics of the local market and supplier capabilities, develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for all of the raw materials, equipment, consumables, and indirect materials needed for our injection moulding operations in Chennai.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in our Chennai facility by supervising the complete purchasing process, from purchase request to order placement, follow-up, and invoice reconciliation.
With an emphasis on local supplier performance in Chennai, create and maintain strong vendor performance management systems that track supplier quality, delivery dependability, and contractual adherence.
Oversee the deployment and use of ERP/MRP systems in our Chennai facility to effectively manage purchase orders and inventory control of polymers and essential spare
parts.
Skills:
Proven ability to lead and oversee a group of purchasing specialists, promote cooperation, and accomplish departmental objectives in Chennai, along with proficiency in injection moulding procurement.
proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and other procurement software that are frequently used in Chennai's manufacturing industry, along with knowledge of how to apply them to particular injection moulding requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier offers, examine market information, and address procurement issues unique to the injection moulding industry in Chennai.
