Who you are:
Execute superior TIG welds on a range of joint designs and locations with precision welding. Determining the necessary weld size and configuration requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, weld symbols, and requirements. To guarantee the best possible weld penetration and avoid contamination, metal workpieces should be cleaned, ground, and prepared using saws, grinders, or chemical agents. Accurately set up and calibrate welding machines by choosing the right tungsten electrode, amperage, and gas flow rates. Avoid distortion, burn-through, or warping, especially on thin materials, by controlling the heat-affected zone and weld puddle. Examine
completed welds visually for typical flaws such as partial fusion, porosity, and undercut. Take into account the project specifications and the qualities of the base metal while selecting the filler wire.
