TIG Welder Chance Build with Accuracy
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Material Preparation: Perform exact fit-ups and tack welding to avoid distortion; clean workpieces to eliminate oxides and impurities.
Equipment Setup: Choose the appropriate polarity, gas flow rates, and high-frequency settings for TIG welding machines.
Electrode and Filler Selection: Depending on the base metal composition, choose and sharpen tungsten electrodes and filler rods.
Precision Welding: To achieve deep penetration without burn-through, manually feed filler rod into the weld pool while regulating the heat with a foot pedal or torch slide.
Quality Inspection: To make sure welds are free of cracks, porosity, or tungsten inclusions, perform visual inspections and
dye-penetrant tests.
Safe Work Practices: Strictly adhere to safety procedures involving UV radiation and shielding gas handling, and keep your workspace clean to prevent contamination.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI Graduation
