Supervisor Maintenance Oversee an Expert Engineering Team
Job Description
A hands-on technical leader, the maintenance supervisor is in charge of guaranteeing the dependability, security, and effectiveness of all plant machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. The goal of this position is to reduce downtime by implementing effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and responding quickly to emergency malfunctions. The ideal applicant is a multiskilled professional with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems who can oversee a group of technicians, control the inventory of spare parts, and carry out economical maintenance techniques to support ongoing production.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning: Create and manage preventive maintenance plans for every production asset on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Team Leadership: Assign work orders, oversee a group of technicians, electricians, and mechanics, and offer technical advice during intricate repairs.
Emergency Breakdown Response: Take the lead in "Breakdown Maintenance" to get production back up as soon as feasible,
then do a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to stop it from happening again.
Spare Parts Management: Keep an ideal stock of essential spares and consumables; work with the procurement team to guarantee premium, economical sourcing.
Oversee the upkeep and operation of the plant's utilities, such as the air compressors, boilers, DG sets, chillers, and HVAC systems.
Safety & Compliance: Make sure that Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols and other industrial safety regulations are followed during all maintenance operations.
Skills:
Technical Versatility: Excellent understanding of motors, mechanical transmission systems, PLC logic, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Troubleshooting Mastery: The capacity to swiftly identify problems by reading mechanical designs and electrical circuit diagrams.
Leadership: The capacity to oversee a technical team and promote "Safety First."
Budgeting: The ability to control maintenance expenses and make the best use of available resources.
