Job Description:
The production engineer is in charge of managing a plant's manufacturing procedures to guarantee timely, high-quality, and economical output. By streamlining processes, controlling resources, and resolving technical problems on the shop floor, your job is to close the gap between design and finished product. Maximizing equipment utilization while reducing waste and downtime will be your goal. The ideal applicant is a proactive engineer with extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing and production scheduling who flourishes under pressure.

Key Duties
Production Planning & Control (PPC): Carry out daily production schedules to satisfy client expectations, making sure that equipment, labor, and supplies are coordinated for optimal output.
Process Optimization:

To shorten cycle times and cut waste, locate production line bottlenecks and apply Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen practices (MUDA).
Resource Management: Monitor and instruct shop floor workers to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Troubleshooting: To ensure uninterrupted flow, offer prompt technical assistance for equipment failures or quality variations.
Value Stream Mapping (VSM): To find opportunities for efficiency improvements, examine the information and material flow from raw materials to final products.
Cost Reduction: Take steps to lower manufacturing costs by increasing material yield, reducing rework and scrap, and improving energy efficiency.
