Sr Electrical Engineer Assistance for Product and Maintenance
Job Description
Overseeing, designing, and strategically carrying out complicated electrical projects is the responsibility of the Senior Electrical Engineer, a high-level technical leader. In this position, you offer professional advice at every stage of the project lifecycle, from detailed engineering and conceptual viability to final commissioning. You are expected to solve complicated technical challenges, mentor young and mid-level engineers, and ensure that all electrical infrastructure is durable, efficient, and consistent with international standards. The ideal applicant is a subject matter expert with a strong background in electronics or power systems, a keen sense of creativity, and a dedication to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Strategic Design & Architecture: Using cutting-edge simulation and CAD tools, oversee the creation of intricate electrical systems, such as high-voltage distribution, control systems, and power electronics.
Project Leadership: Oversee major engineering projects and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (software, mechanical, and civil) to guarantee the success of integrated systems.
Technical Mentorship: Promote a culture
of technical excellence and ongoing learning by offering junior and staff engineers high-level direction and code evaluations.
Power Quality & Reliability: To guarantee system stability, carry out sophisticated studies including Protection Coordination, Short Circuit Analysis, and Load Flow Analysis.
Vendor and Contract Management: Manage connections with outside consultants and contractors and supervise the technical assessment and selection of expensive electrical equipment.
Statutory & Safety Oversight: Make sure that all designs and site operations closely follow both local and international safety regulations.
Skills:
Technical expertise includes knowledge of power systems, complex protection schemes, and electrical theory.
Advanced Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM, or Revit MEP.
Problem Solving: Outstanding capacity to identify the underlying causes of systemic electrical faults and create long-term solutions.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent ability to guide various engineering teams and provide technical data to executive stakeholders.
