Sophisticated Position Openings for VMC Programmers
Job Description
Focus: In order to ensure accurate and efficient part production in a manufacturing environment located in Chennai, emphasise the fundamental skills of developing and refining CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs).
Experience: 2 to 5 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Accurately interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications relevant to the components manufactured in Chennai.
Optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle times, reduce machining costs, and enhance part quality for our Chennai production lines.
Create detailed setup sheets and tooling lists to provide clear instructions for CNC setters and operators in our Chennai facility.
Maintain an organized library of CNC programs
and related documentation, ensuring proper revision control and accessibility within our Chennai operations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency and reduce waste in our Chennai manufacturing processes.
What you need:
Strong proficiency in using CAD/CAM software to generate efficient and accurate CNC programs for VMCs.
Comprehensive understanding of machining principles, cutting tool selection, and optimization techniques relevant to VMC operations in Chennai.
Ability to accurately interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
Experience with simulating and verifying CNC programs to prevent errors and optimize performance.
