Full Description
SolidWorks Design Engineer Role Deliver Thoughts to Live
Job Description
Duties:
Parametric 3D Modeling: Use parametric characteristics to create intricate 3D components and assemblies that can be readily modified during design iterations.
Large Assembly Management: Using "Top-Down" and "Bottom-Up" design approaches to check for interferences and clearances, construct and oversee assemblies with hundreds of parts.
Simulation and Validation: To verify design integrity under actual stresses, run structural, thermal, or fluid flow simulations using SolidWorks Simulation (FEA).
Create 2D production drawings with exact measurements, a bill of materials (BOM), and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) for detailed engineering drawings.
Sheet Metal & Weldments: Create structural weldments and sheet metal components
(including flat patterns) using specific SolidWorks modules.
Rendering & Visualization: Use SolidWorks Visualize to produce excellent photorealistic renderings for marketing brochures and client presentations.
Focus Skills:
SolidWorks Expertise: Advanced expertise in 3D modeling, assembly, and drawing modules. Certifications in CSWA, CSWP, or CSWE are strongly recommended.
Mechanical Intuition: a solid grasp of material characteristics, kinematics, and mechanics.
Precision and Detail: Proficiency in tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T standards.
Critical thinking: The capacity to see intricate mechanical relationships and spot possible sites of failure early in the design process.
Apply now to become an integral part of our growing team!
