SolidWorks Design Engineer Improve Your Design Career
Job Description
Duties:
3D parametric modeling: Use powerful SolidWorks features, including as surface, sheet metal, and weldments, to create sturdy, customizable 3D parts and assemblies.
Drafting and Detailing: Produce accurate two-dimensional production drawings with thorough annotations, such as revision tables, balloons, and the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Design for Manufacturing (DFM): To reduce production costs, optimize designs for certain manufacturing techniques like casting, CNC machining, or injection molding.
Simulation & Validation: Before prototyping, use SolidWorks Simulation (FEA) to conduct Static, Thermal, or Fatigue study to confirm structural integrity.
Mechanism Design: To detect interferences and confirm working clearances,
construct and animate assemblies with intricate motion limitations.
Data Management (PDM): To handle file versions, workflows, and team-wide collaborative design projects, use SolidWorks PDM (Product Data Management).
