The SolidWorks Design Engineer is in charge of using SolidWorks to create, edit, and oversee intricate 2D technical drawings and 3D models. This position is essential to the manufacturing process because it turns abstract concepts into designs that are ready for production. To make sure that designs are optimized for usefulness, affordability, and ease of assembly, you will collaborate closely with the manufacturing, production, and quality teams. The ideal applicant has a thorough understanding of mechanical concepts, is capable of managing
Product Data Management (PDM) systems, and is familiar with manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection molding.
Key Skills:
Software Proficiency: SolidWorks expertise in parts, assembly, drawing, sheet metal, and weldments.
Engineering Fundamentals: Excellent understanding of manufacturing procedures, material science, and mechanics.
Analytical Thinking: The capacity to carry out tolerance stack-up analysis and resolve difficult design problems.
Communication: The capacity to convey technical design decisions to manufacturing personnel and non-technical stakeholders.
