Site QA/QC Engineer Transforming Guidelines into Brilliance
Job Description
At the production site or project location, the Site QA/QC Engineer is in charge of monitoring the quality standards and compliance of manufacturing processes, installations, and facilities. In contrast to a plant-based position, you concentrate on the nexus between manufacture and site implementation, making sure that items are installed and commissioned in accordance with strict quality standards in addition to being built correctly. As the main point of contact between the design requirements and the finished physical product, you oversee audits, inspections, and non-conformances to guarantee delivery with no defects. A proactive problem-solver with a "quality-first" mentality and a deep understanding of industrial rules and standards is the perfect applicant.
Key Duties:
Site Inspection & Testing: Verify that raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished assemblies adhere to authorized shop drawings and specifications by conducting
on-site inspections.
Implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure that all activities comply with ISO 9001 or industry-specific requirements by upholding and enforcing the site-specific Quality Plan.
Documentation & Records: Create and oversee the Project Quality Records (PQR), which include Final Handover Dossiers, Checklists, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
Non-Conformance Management: Determine site-level flaws, provide Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and keep an eye on the application of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Welding and Material Inspection: (If applicable) Manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for structural or pressure components, such as radiography or ultrasonic testing.
Vendor & Subcontractor Audit: Conduct regular quality checks of on-site suppliers and subcontractors to make sure their work satisfies project specifications.
