Site QA/QC Engineer Excellence on the Floor Work
Job Description
The Quality Management System (QMS) at the construction or project site must be implemented and overseen by the Site QA/QC Engineer. Making sure that all on-site activities, including E&I work, adhere to authorized drawings, project specifications, and international standards is your main responsibility. As the ultimate authority on quality, you oversee documentation, conduct inspections, and observe tests to make sure the "as-built" facility complies with the "as-designed" goal. A principled professional with an acute attention to detail and the guts to halt work if quality standards are breached is the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
Quality Planning: Ensure that every crucial milestone is confirmed by implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for all site operations.
On-Site Inspection: Conduct routine site inspections to confirm that the materials and construction techniques used correspond to the authorized Material Submittals and Method Statements.
Material Receiving Inspection (MRI):
Verify that all arriving materials are undamaged, properly kept, and come with the required Mill Test Certificates (MTC).
Testing & Observation: Take in important field tests including meggering for electrical circuits, hydro-testing for pipes, concrete slump and cube tests, and soil compaction tests.
NCR Management: Track and confirm corrective steps to guarantee the problem is permanently fixed; issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for any work that does not match requirements.
Skills:
Technical Standards: In-depth familiarity with international codes pertinent to the project type, such as ACI, ASTM, ASME, and IEC.
Analytical Tools: Able to decipher technical specifications, P&IDs, and 2D/3D designs.
Communication: Use assertive communication techniques to facilitate coordination between client representatives and production teams on-site.
Solving problems: Proficiency in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
