Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Component Fitting & Assembly: Shape, grind, and finish metal components for flawless assembly using power equipment and hand tools like files, chisels, and saws.
Blueprint reading: Determine dimensions, tolerances, and the assembly order by interpreting intricate engineering drawings and job cards.
Marking & Measuring: Before cutting or drilling metal surfaces, use "marking-out" techniques with punches, dividers, and scribers.
Precision Measurement: To make sure parts are within predetermined tolerances, use measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bevel protractors.
Drilling and Tapping: To make exact holes
and internal/external threads, operate pillar drilling machines and use manual taps and dies.
Machinery Maintenance: To preserve the longevity of industrial equipment, perform regular maintenance, lubrication, and repairs.
Welding: When necessary for assembly or repair jobs, use brazing or ARC/MIG welding to perform basic joining operations.
