Senior Engineer Paintshop Maintenance Plant Operations
Job Description
Focus: Stress the fundamental abilities of managing maintenance tasks, resolving complicated paint shop equipment issues, putting preventative maintenance plans into practice, and promoting ongoing development in a Chennai manufacturing company's paint shop.
Experience: 5 to 7 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Lead and manage the maintenance activities for all equipment within the paint shop of our Chennai manufacturing facility, including spray booths, ovens, pre-treatment systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
Develop, implement, and optimize preventative maintenance (PM) programs specific to paint shop equipment, tailored to the operating conditions and environmental factors in Chennai.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues within paint shop equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resumption of production in our Chennai plant.
Develop
and maintain detailed maintenance procedures, work instructions, and spare parts lists for all paint shop equipment, utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) if applicable in our Chennai operations.
Analyze equipment failure data and maintenance history to identify trends, implement corrective and preventive actions, and continuously improve equipment reliability in our Chennai paint shop.
What you need:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills specific to paint shop equipment issues.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a maintenance team and collaborate with other departments in Chennai.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards applicable to paint shop maintenance in India, particularly in Tamil Nadu.
