Responsibilities:
Breakdown Maintenance: To reduce "Mean Time to Repair" (MTTR), take the lead in quickly identifying and fixing electrical problems in CNC machines, VMCs, SPM (Special Purpose Machines), and assembly lines.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: To reduce "Mean Time Between Failures" (MTBF), create and implement a thorough maintenance schedule for motors, transformers, switchgear, and panels.
PLC and Automation Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot VFDs, HMIs, and servo systems in addition to diagnosing and modifying PLC programs.
Power Distribution Management: To guarantee consistent power quality, supervise the operation and upkeep of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, and UPS systems.
Utility
Maintenance: Make sure that electrical parts of boilers, air compressors, and chillers are dependable.
Inventory of Spare Parts: To avoid prolonged machine downtime, have an ideal supply of essential electrical spares on hand.
Required Skills:
Schematic literacy is the capacity to read and comprehend intricate SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and Electrical Control Circuit diagrams.
Automation Proficiency: Practical knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC logic, and industrial communication protocols (ProfiBus, ModBus, Ethernet/IP).
Tool expertise is the ability to use diagnostic instruments like clamp meters, thermal imaging cameras, meggers (insulation testers), and multimeters.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of safety compliance standards, IE (Indian Electricity) regulations, and local electrical acts.
Leadership: The capacity to oversee a group of electricians and work with other service providers to arrange for specialty repairs.
