Job Description
Duties:
Process Optimization: To cut cycle times, create and implement effective manufacturing workflows utilizing Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
Production Scheduling: Work with the planning department to arrange production runs, making sure that equipment, labor, and raw supplies are all in line with deadlines.
Troubleshooting: Use quick root cause analysis to find and fix production line technical issues, reducing downtime.
Quality Assurance: Make sure every unit satisfies customer requirements and ISO standards by putting strict quality control procedures into place.
Capacity Planning: To predict production capacity and recommend capital investments for scaling, analyze worker productivity and machine
performance.
Safety & Compliance: Make sure all floor employees wear the appropriate PPE and adhere to safety procedures by enforcing strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Focus Skills:
Technical Knowledge: Profound comprehension of production procedures.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools such as Minitab or Microsoft Excel are examples of analytical tools.
Methodologies: Good understanding of Kaizen, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Lean Manufacturing.
Leadership: The capacity to lead sizable groups and explain technical specifications to employees who are not technically inclined.
