Job Description
Your Impact:
We are looking to add a production engineer with analytical and attention to detail to our manufacturing team in Chennai. In addition to maintaining quality standards and contributing to efforts for continuous development, the production engineer will be in charge of streamlining production procedures and guaranteeing efficiency. Strong problem-solving abilities, a grasp of manufacturing principles, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams are prerequisites for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
Production Planning and Scheduling: Assist in the development and execution of production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
Quality Control: Implement
and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet required standards. Investigate and resolve quality issues.
Equipment and Maintenance: Oversee the proper functioning of production equipment, coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventative maintenance.
Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving measures in the production process without compromising quality.
What you Need:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Automobile
Experience: Freshers
