In a manufacturing setting, the Press Production Engineer is in charge of managing the hydraulic, mechanical, or pneumatic industrial press machinery's operation, maintenance, and optimization. Ensuring high-volume production of stamped, forged, or molded components while upholding stringent quality requirements and reducing downtime is your key objective. You will manage "Die" preparations and handle intricate mechanical problems on the shop floor, bridging the gap between design and physical output. The ideal applicant is
a technically sound leader who places a high value on efficiency, safety, and ongoing stamping and pressing process improvement.
Key Skills:
Technical expertise: in-depth understanding of sheet metal properties and press mechanics (tonnage, stroke, and shut height).
The capacity to decipher intricate designs and conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) on production problems.
Leadership: Effective management of a group of operators and technicians requires strong communication abilities.
Precision: Excellent attention to detail when using gauges and micrometers to measure and confirm components.
Experience: 3+ yrs
