Job Description
Focus: Emphasize the primary skills of establishing and leading quality control processes, ensuring adherence to standards, and driving continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility in Chennai, considering local quality expectations and regulatory requirements.
Experience: 5 to 10 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards and relevant industry regulations applicable in India, specifically tailored to our Chennai manufacturing operations.
Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) team in Chennai, providing direction, training, and performance feedback to ensure effective execution of quality procedures.
Establish and oversee quality control procedures for incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods, considering the specific materials and processes used in our Chennai plant.
Develop and implement inspection plans, sampling procedures,
and testing protocols to ensure product quality meets defined specifications and customer expectations in the local market and beyond.
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve process capability within our Chennai manufacturing lines.
What you need:
In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or relevant industry-specific standards) and their implementation in an Indian manufacturing context.
Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, including SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Experience in developing and implementing inspection plans, testing protocols, and quality standards relevant to the materials and processes used in our Chennai facility.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to quality improvement.
