In injection molding, the quality engineer is in charge of making sure that every plastic component satisfies exacting functional, dimensional, and aesthetic requirements. The technical facets of quality are the main emphasis of your job, particularly controlling the interaction between resin behavior, mold performance, and machine parameters. In addition to doing statistical analysis on production runs and leading the certification of new molds, you will also troubleshoot faults including warping,
sink marks, and flash. A data-driven problem solver who comprehends "Quality at Source" and can collaborate closely with production to optimize cycles without sacrificing part integrity is the ideal candidate.
Key Skills:
Molding Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the injection molding procedure.
Technical Drawing: The ability to apply GD&T and interpret intricate plans.
Solving problems: proficiency with the 5-Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and 8D approaches.
Metrology: Practical knowledge of automated inspection tools, micrometers, and callipers.
Experience: 3+ yrs
