Your Duties:
Lead the quality side of mold trials (T0 to T-Final), conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), and authorize gold samples for mass production as part of the new product validation process.
Utilizing control charts, statistical process control (SPC) tracks critical-to-quality (CTQ) characteristics in order to spot patterns and stop errors before they happen.
Root Cause Analysis of Defects: Determine and fix molding flaws (such as burn marks, silver streaks, and jetting) by examining the "Moulding Window" and modifying process variables.
Metrology & Testing: Make use of moisture analyzers, profile projectors, and CMMs
to confirm material qualities and part accuracy.
Gauge R&R: Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis to make that operators and gauges are delivering reliable and consistent data.
Create visual inspection standards and boundary samples to help operators distinguish between cosmetic faults that are acceptable and those that should be rejected.
