Quality Engineer Improvement in the Production Sector
Job Description
Who you are:
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), oversee the quality aspect of mold trials (T0 to T-Final), and authorize gold samples for mass production. Control charts are used in statistical process control (SPC) to track critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions, spot trends, and stop faults before they happen. Determine and address molding flaws (such as burn marks, silver streaks, and jetting) by examining the "Moulding Window" and modifying process variables. To confirm material qualities and part accuracy, use moisture analyzers, profile projectors, and CMMs. Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis as part of Gauge R&R to make that operators and gauges are
producing reliable and consistent data. To help operators distinguish between cosmetic defects that are acceptable and deemed unacceptable, create visual inspection standards and boundary samples.
