Job Description
Who you are:
Conduct in-process audits and first-off and last-off inspections to make sure parts adhere to the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). Common injection molding flaws including sink marks, silver streaks, jetting, and short shots can be identified and fixed. To compare part dimensions to technical drawings, use precision tools. Help validate new molds and oversee the PPAP paperwork for new product introductions. Utilize control charts to track production stability in order to spot patterns and stop non-conformities before they happen. Investigate customer complaints or internal rejections using the 8D or 5-Why methodologies to put long-lasting
corrective measures in place. Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to make that the staff and gauges used for inspections deliver accurate and consistent data.
