Job Description
Who you are:
As directed by the production plan, load the machine with raw materials and install the appropriate drilling or cutting instruments. Turn on the machine and watch as it cuts to make sure everything goes smoothly and within the "cycle time." Measure the "first-off" and final pieces with precision tools to make sure their measurements exactly match those in the technical drawing. Remove metal "chips" to avoid mechanical jams, clean the machine every day, and check coolant levels. To maintain items within tolerance, find modest
offsets or machine changes that address minor cutting faults.
