QMS position for 3 to 5 yrs exp
JD;
• Leading teams and developing procedures.
• Inspecting materials, components, and finished products against established specifications and standards.
• Monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Reviewing and updating documentation related to quality management systems, processes, products, and services.
• Conducting internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Documenting audit findings, non-conformances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Developing, implementing, and verifying corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) in response to audit findings and non-conformances.
• Minimizing customer complaints and training staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Participating in supplier qualification processes and ensuring that materials meet required standards before use.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO standards, IS 15495:2020 for inks in food packaging).
• Utilizing data analytics to identify trends, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and drive process enhancements.
• Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in quality management systems and auditing.
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Assurance).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the printing and packaging industry.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, testing techniques, and defect prevention strategies.
• Analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed
decisions regarding quality improvements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inspecting materials, documenting findings, and generating reports.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quality management and data analysis (e.g., SPC charts).
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, interacting with auditors, and training staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines applicable to the printing and packaging industry (e.g., FSSAI, ISO standards).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred skills and qualifications
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA).
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) implementation (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like automated inspection systems, IoT, and data analytics in QA.
• Experience in scaling operations, streamlining processes, or leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for addressing complex quality issues.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and processes to minimize environmental impact.
