QC Engineer Creating the Factory Safety of the Future
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Product Inspection: To make sure that designs and GD&T regulations are followed, conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), In-process Inspection, and Final Inspection.
Testing and Validation: To confirm the strength, hardness, and durability of a material, do destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Mastery of Measurement Tools: Calibrate and use precise tools like height gauges, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
Defect documentation: Determine which materials are non-conforming, tag them, and place them in quarantine. Create thorough rejection summaries and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Statistical Sampling: To calculate the sample size for batch inspections,
use sampling plans (such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4) and AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) tables.
Root Cause Assistance: Provide tangible proof and shop floor data to help Quality Engineers look into "escapes" (defects that got to the customer).
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in EEE
