Job Description
Who you are:
Execute first-piece, patrol, and final inspections with automated testing apparatus and precise measuring tools. To guarantee that no subpar product is sent to the client, identify, tag, and separate any defective items. Make sure that all measuring devices and jigs are correct and certified by maintaining and calibrating them. Determine pass/fail criteria by interpreting intricate technical drawings and GD&T. Keep thorough inspection logs and reports, entering information into the QMS to assist in identifying recurrent quality trends. Measurement System Analysis (MSA) is used to gauge R&R studies and make sure that measurement process variance falls
within allowable bounds. Based on the specifications of the product, perform specialized tests in the lab, such as surface roughness analysis, tensile strength testing, and hardness testing.
