Job Description
Duties:
Installation & Commissioning: Ensure that systems are calibrated to specifications and prepared for production by supervising and carrying out the actual installation of new machinery at customer plants.
Technical troubleshooting: Identify the underlying causes of equipment malfunctions, such as mechanical wear or PLC logic faults, and carry out excellent on-site repairs.
Customer Training: Give customer operators and maintenance teams practical instruction on safe machine operation, basic daily maintenance, and safety procedures.
Sales of Spare Parts: Find ways to update equipment or replace parts, then work with the sales staff to give clients the estimates they need.
Remote Technical
Support: Help clients fix small technical issues without requiring an on-site visit by using remote desktop software or the phone.
Focus Skills:
Technical Versatility: The ability to understand mechanical drawings, hydraulic circuits, and electrical schematics with ease.
Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency with testing instruments such as laser alignment kits, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
Communication: The capacity to clearly and concisely convey complicated technological matters to non-technical client employees.
Adaptability: The capacity to operate in a variety of industrial settings and travel frequently, frequently on short notice.
