Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: To carry out operations like drilling, grinding, and milling, set up and run CNC machines.
Loading and Unloading: Make sure there is little idle time in between cycles by safely loading workpieces into fixtures or chucks and unloading completed items.
In-Process Inspection: Verify dimensions against engineering drawings using precise tools.
Tool Monitoring: To preserve part quality, keep an eye on cutting tool wear and make simple
tool replacements or offsets.
Quality Documentation: Identify any non-conforming parts for segregation and record inspection data on check sheets.
Basic Maintenance: Carry out "TPM" tasks every day, such as cleaning the machine, monitoring coolant levels, and removing chips and swarf.
Safety Adherence: Make sure machine guards are in place and strictly adhere to shop-floor safety procedures, such as wearing safety glasses and earplugs.
Required Skills:
basic comprehension of CNC programming codes.
ability to read and comprehend GD&T symbols and technical drawings.
practical practice using measuring equipment.
