Job Description:
The front-line supervision of manufacturing activities is the responsibility of the production supervisor, who makes sure that production schedules are fulfilled with the least amount of waste and maximum efficiency. This position, which focuses on the tactical implementation of production plans, serves as a link between shop floor employees and plant management. A hands-on leader who is adept at solving mechanical problems, streamlining workflow, and upholding a high-performance culture focused on quality and safety is the ideal candidate.
Key Duties:
Daily Production Oversight: Keep an eye on production lines to make sure that output goals are fulfilled in accordance with the daily schedule and quality requirements.
Manpower Allocation: Manage shift rotations and attendance;
assign work to operators and technicians according to their qualifications and the current production priority.
Workflow Optimization: To increase overall equipment effectiveness, find and remove production process bottlenecks.
Strict quality standards should be implemented and upheld. Regular inspections should be carried out, and any deviations or flaws should be coordinated with the QC team.
Safety and Compliance: Make sure that everyone on the team follows safety procedures, such as using PPE correctly and adhering to OSHA or ISO regulations.
Technical Troubleshooting: To minimize downtime, collaborate with the maintenance department for large repairs and offer prompt support for minor equipment faults.
