Job Description:
The production facility's technical and operational supervision falls within the purview of the production manager. This position guarantees that production goals are fulfilled at the highest quality standards, on schedule, and within budget. Coordinating between the planning, procurement, and maintenance departments to guarantee a smooth workflow, you will be the key force behind shop-floor efficiency. A strategic leader with extensive knowledge in lean manufacturing, resource optimization, and human resource management would be the perfect applicant. Your objective as a production manager is to increase output while preserving a secure and economical setting.
Key Duties:
Production Planning and Execution: To guarantee 100% on-time delivery, convert sales projections into daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Resource management is
the process of efficiently allocating labor, equipment, and raw resources to achieve output goals while reducing idle time.
Process Optimization: To reduce waste and enhance flow, use Lean Manufacturing techniques like Kaizen, 5S, and VSM.
KPI Monitoring: Keep tabs on and document critical performance metrics such as cost per unit, rejection rates, and OEE.
Budget Control: Oversee the department's operating budget with an emphasis on lowering production costs and raising worker productivity.
Supply Chain Coordination: To control inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking, collaborate closely with the warehouse and procurement teams.
Team Development: Assure a high degree of technical proficiency and motivation by leading, coaching, and training shift managers and operators.
