Production Engineer Stabilizing the Manufacturing Line
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Daily Management: Monitor daily production activities, ensuring machines, equipment, and processes operate efficiently to meet planned production schedules and output targets.
Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical resource on the floor, quickly diagnosing and resolving immediate production issues, equipment failures, and process deviations to minimize downtime.
Cycle Time Reduction: Analyze production data and processes to identify bottlenecks and implement engineering solutions to reduce product cycle times.
Optimization: Fine-tune equipment parameters, machine speeds, and tooling to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and maintain product quality.
Process
Capability: Monitor critical process parameters and conduct studies to ensure processes operate within specified statistical limits (CpK).
Documentation: Ensure all production and process change records are accurately maintained and comply with the company's Quality Management System
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for training operators and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude and ability to drive change on the shop floor.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
