Production Engineer Production Based path to employment
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Process Oversight: Arrange and plan daily production plans to satisfy inventory goals and customer expectations.
Line Optimization: To reduce waste and speed up cycle times, apply Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, Just-in-Time).
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Take the lead in organizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedules and troubleshooting machine malfunctions with the technical staff.
Resource Management: To attain the lowest cost per unit, control the use of energy, labor, and raw materials.
Capacity Planning: To ascertain plant capacity and make plans for future equipment upgrades or scalability, conduct time and motion studies.
Safety & Compliance: Make sure that all environmental rules and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) standards
are fully followed on the work floor.
Quality Coordination: Analyze rejection patterns in close collaboration with the QA team and take prompt corrective action on the production line.
Technical Documentation: Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), yield reports, and production records up to date.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Automobile
