Job Description:
The production engineer is in charge of organizing, managing, and streamlining the manufacturing procedures to guarantee that the final goods are of the highest caliber, reasonably priced, and delivered on schedule. You are the intermediary between design and implementation; on the shop floor, you transform blueprints into effective reality. You will concentrate on cutting cycle times, optimizing machine utilization, and applying Lean manufacturing concepts to get rid of waste. A proactive leader who can strike a
balance between the logistical demands of a high-volume production schedule and the technical requirements of machines is the ideal choice.
Key Skills:
Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of plastic molding, assembly lines, CNC machining, or fabrication (industry-specific).
Analytical Tools: Mastery of Excel for tracking production data and AutoCAD/SolidWorks for layout design.
Methodologies: Excellent understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), DMAIC, and Six Sigma.
Leadership: Excellent communication abilities to oversee sizable groups of technicians and operators.
Experience: 3+ yrs
