Job Description
Focus: In order to provide superior surface finishing for injection-molded plastic components in a Chennai manufacturing setting, place a strong emphasis on strategic leadership, operational excellence, quality control, team management, and process optimisation for the entire paint shop function.
Experience: 8 to 10 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Examine market trends in surface finishing and paint technology, then suggest and put into practice innovative procedures or technologies to improve the effectiveness and quality of the final product.
Make sure that paint booths, ovens, spray guns, and other paint shop equipment are used and scheduled efficiently.
/>Verify adherence to internal quality management systems and pertinent industry standards.
Encourage cross-training among staff members to create a flexible workforce.
To find and reduce possible risks, the department should regularly conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
Negotiate contracts and make sure the conditions are followed.
What you need:
Knowledge of color theory, color matching, and spectrophotometry.
Understanding of quality control tools and methodologies relevant to surface finishing.
Familiarity with automation and robotics in a paint shop setting.
