Managing daily painting operations, streamlining procedures, guaranteeing compliance with surface finish quality requirements, and spearheading continuous improvement projects to boost output and lower flaws are all critical tasks for a Paintshop Production Engineer. Responsibilities:
Keep an eye on important
paintshop performance metrics (KPIs), including output, rework rate, oven utilisation, paint consumption, and paint transfer efficiency.
To guarantee uniform coverage and finish, optimize the robot's programming for applying paint.
For reliable application, comprehend and control paint chemistry and viscosity.
Keep an eye on the paintshop's utility usage and look for ways to save energy.
For paintshop operations, keep precise production records, process parameters, and quality logs.
Qualification:
Strong understanding of paint defects, their causes, and corrective actions.
Familiarity with paint shop utilities.
Willingness to work in shifts as per production demands.
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
