What you will do:
Developing detailed production schedules (short-term and long-term) based on sales
forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints, utilizing ERP/MRP systems.
Managing material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components, preventing stockouts or overstocking.
Monitoring and analyzing production performance (KPIs), such as efficiency, utilization, and adherence to schedule, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions.
Coordinating closely with Sales, Procurement, and Production teams to balance customer demand with plant capacity and resolve schedule conflicts.
Driving process improvements within the planning function using Lean principles to optimize flow and reduce lead times
