PED Engineer New Process Development (Injection Moulding)
Job Description
You serve as the link between a theoretical mold design and the reality of high-speed production as a PED engineer. By establishing the "Golden Parameters" that will determine the success of our production output, you make sure that any new tool or material is smoothly incorporated into the shop floor.

Responsibilities
In order to create reliable, repeatable procedures, you will oversee the "Trial to Production" stage of New Product Development (NPD) by carrying out Scientific Injection Moulding (SIM) trials.
Process Optimization: You will create a 100% optimized cycle that reduces scrap and increases quality by adjusting intricate variables like melt temperature, injection pressure, and cooling time.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause: To rebalance the process and stop recurrence, you will do a thorough study when a production

run fails (due to flash, short shots, or silver streaks).
Standardization: You will draft and record the set-up sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that our technicians use for each batch.
Yield Improvement: By locating "bottlenecks" in the cycle time, you will be able to make technical adjustments that lower expenses and boost factory productivity.

Skills:
Technical expertise: in-depth knowledge of polymer rheology, injection molding parameters, and mold construction.
Understanding the mechanical limitations of a mold and being able to read 2D/3D CAD drawings.
Skills in the use of statistical tools (such as CPK/PPK analysis) and scientific molding software (such as Moldflow).
Using a "hands-on" method to find and address shop floor flaws.

We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
Warm Regards,
