Responsibilities:
Process Design & Optimization: Create and record scientific molding procedures (6-Step Study) to guarantee a stable and reproducible production window.
Leading T0 to T-Final trials for new molds and analyzing trial results to suggest tool or process changes are the responsibilities of mold trial leadership.
In order to avoid production problems, Design for production (DFM) involves reviewing product designs and offering technical input on wall thickness, draft angles, and gate placements.
Cycle Time Reduction: Analyze machine kinematics and perform time-motion studies to cut cycle times by seconds without sacrificing part quality.
/>Integration of Automation and Tooling: Develop and deploy End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) for robots and incorporate auxiliary devices such as slide core controllers or unscrewing units.
Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ): Create and carry out protocols for Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification, particularly for automotive or medical components.
Required Skills:
Scientific Moulding: Proficiency in viscosity curve analysis and decoupled molding procedures.
Software Proficiency: SolidWorks, Moldflow, or UG NX are used expertly; knowledge of RJG eDART systems is advantageous.
Polymer science: a thorough comprehension of the differences between crystalline and amorphous resins, as well as how they react to heat and shear.
Advanced problem-solving skills in using DOE (Design of Experiments) to resolve intricate dimensions or aesthetic problems.
