Job Description
Your Impact:
You will be in charge of using SolidWorks CAD software to design, develop, and optimise mechanical parts, assemblies, and products. The ideal applicant will be passionate about developing useful and effective designs from conception to production, have a solid basis in mechanical engineering principles, and have a great lot of SolidWorks expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Using SolidWorks CAD software, conceptualise, design, and create new mechanical parts and assemblies while following project and design specifications.
Produce precise 2D manufacturing drawings with the right dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T, as well as intricate 3D models, parts, and assemblies.
Make design changes and tweaks to current items in response to manufacturing advancements, cost-cutting measures, or performance feedback.
Work closely with Chennai's R&D, manufacturing, and quality
teams to make sure designs are optimised for quality, serviceability, assembly, and manufacture.
For designs, choose suitable materials and standard components while taking strength, cost, weight, and environmental impact into account.
Perform simple engineering computations to confirm the performance and integrity of the design.
What you Need:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary to recognise design difficulties and suggest workable solutions.
Concept Development: The capacity to convert abstract concepts and drawings into intricate 3D models and designs.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication abilities in Tamil and English are necessary for productive internal team collaboration in Chennai.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
Experience: Freshers
