Need Current Hiring of HVAC Technicians
Job Description
Duties:
System Design & Planning: Use CAD software to create comprehensive HVAC designs that include equipment specs, pipe schematics, and ductwork layouts.
Heat Load Calculation: To ascertain the necessary system capacity, do accurate thermal load analysis utilizing methods such as ASHRAE standards or HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
Equipment Selection: Depending on the needs of the project, find and specify chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), cooling towers, and VRF/VRV systems.
Installation Oversight: To guarantee quality and compliance, oversee site teams as ducting, insulation, refrigerant piping, and electrical controls are installed.
Commissioning and Testing: Make sure the system provides the intended temperature
and airflow at every outlet by performing Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB).
Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all designs and installations adhere to regional fire safety requirements, building codes, and environmental rules (such as LEED or BEE).
Focus Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and psychrometric charts.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and load calculation software (HAP/Elite).
Solving problems: The capacity to identify compressor inefficiencies, refrigerant leaks, and airflow imbalances.
Project management: The capacity to concurrently oversee finances, schedules, and vendor relationships.
