Moulding Unit Utilities and Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
Salary: Based on Company Norms
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Cooling System Management: Keep an eye on the upkeep and operation of cooling towers and water chillers to guarantee accurate temperature control for hydraulic circuits and molds.
Compressed Air Systems: To guarantee moisture-free air for pneumatic valves, blow-molding attachments, and part ejection, maintain high-pressure air compressors and dryers.
Power and Electrical Infrastructure: To avoid production loss during power outages, control the plant's UPS, DG sets, and electrical substation.
HVAC & Ventilation: Maintain crane/hoist equipment used for loading and unloading large mold and make sure the
shop floor is properly ventilated.
Energy Management: Track and improve the plant's specific energy consumption (SEC), looking for air line leaks or inefficient motor loads.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): To reduce unplanned downtime and increase asset life, follow the PM schedule for all utility equipment.
